You’re never far from your next meal at Freedom Shores. Enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner without having to leave the grounds. Wake up to a complimentary continental breakfast, served in the resort reception, then wander across the lawn to Northerlies Beach Bar & Grill for lunch, dinner and afternoon cocktails by the water.
Daily Resort Breakfast
Enjoy a complimentary continental breakfast every morning, including pastries, seasonal fruits, toast, cereals, yoghurt, tea, juice & coffee. Served from 7am – 9:30am in the resort reception, just opposite the pool deck, it’s the perfect way to start your day in the Whitsundays.
Onsite Restaurant
With a tropical twist on Australian classics, Northerlies offers the best of both worlds, serving everything from pub classics to scrumptious seafood platters. The kitchen stays open all-day long, with lunch and dinner service, and an all-day light bites menu. Eat by the beach or grab a takeaway meal to enjoy in your room or by the pool.

Do you offer room service?
Unfortunately, we do not provide room service. To order from Northerlies, please walk down to the restaurant.
You can charge all food & beverages back to your room and ask for takeaway containers.
What are the kitchen service times?
Lunch: 12pm – 2:30pm
Dinner: 5pm – 8:30pm
Small Bites and Kids Menu available all day from 12pm – 8:30pm
When is the outside kitchen open?
The Beach Kitchen is open for Friday dinner, Saturday lunch & dinner, plus Sunday lunch.
Do you have gluten free menu items?
We sure do! We also offer gluten free burger buns and pizza base replacements. Check out our menus above or ask our staff which meals can be altered to become gluten free when ordering.
Do you have vegan menu items?
Absolutely! We have a vegan burger, salad bowls and delicious sides. Plus, some of our other menu items can be changed to suit your dietary requirements. Just ask our team when ordering
Do you offer desserts?
We serve a few dessert items in the Beach Kitchen which is open for Friday dinner, Saturday lunch & dinner, plus Sunday lunch. Check out the menu here.
Unfortunately, we do not serve dessert in the Brasserie. Stay tuned on our socials for any updates.
Can I order from both kitchens?
You sure can! Our Beach Kitchen is open for Friday dinner, Saturday lunch & dinner, plus Sunday lunch. You’re welcome to order from both the Beach Kitchen and Brasserie restaurant, take a buzzer at each and find your favourite spot on the beach (or inside the restaurant)
